Tari II Tari II is a 42' sturdy, tough and agile aluminum offshore sailboat designed by Douglas Peterson. What is included in the price Accomodation in single bunks with sleeping bags and sheets. What is NOT included in the price Alcohol drinks. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT LIST For your comfort and safety we recommend to include this items within your personal luggage for an expedition voyage on board Tari II. It's preferable to bring soft bags with you as luggage because hard cases are more difficult to store on board. If that's the case we have facilities in Ushuaia to store them until we return, and also to leave effects you think won't be necessary to take on the trip. the right to alter and/or cancel part or the whole voyage due to
serious bad weather, and/or political circumstances in the area of the
voyage, and/or any other reason beyond his control. Because of the
same the skipper accept no responsibility for missed flights
or buses nor their consequences and strongly recommend our clients that
international return flights are fully flexible to allow for missed
connections due to bad weather, mechanical breakdown and for any other
reason whatsoever as mentioned before. THE SKIPPER
INSURANCE Before boarding Tari II every crewmember will be required to sign a
Release of Claims and Waiver of Liability to ensure that they
understand the nature of the expedition.

All trips may originate in Puerto Williams, Chile or Ushuaia and may also be changed by special request to sail to the Glaciers and Fjords of Tierra Del Fuego. Joining us for an expedition voyage some services are included and some other not. approved by the captain and must be paid in cash before the end of the

There are many lodging options in Punta Arenas and Ushuaia so it's not a problem to find a suitable room for your needs. In Puerto Williams there are just a few hostels and we recommend to book in advance if you are thinking in staying in town.
Immigration
Both in Argentina and Chile visas are required for tourists arriving from some specific countries. You can check this info at your nearest argentine or chilean foreign office. For Argentina you can check a list at http://www.mininterior.gov.ar/migraciones/ Citizens from countries with no diplomatic relations with Chile need a chilean visum on their passports before entering Chile. It can be done at a chilean embassy or representative office. Beforehand a return ticket will be requested before any procedure.
Money exchange
Both in Argentina and Chile US dolars and Euro are accepted in almost every place. It is unusual to find a shop or store that takes other currencies. In Puerto Williams there is a bank that has an aotomatic teller which accepts credit card and also the Mini Mrket Yagan in the town center. Customs and Sanitary authority In both countries it is forbidden to bring fresh vegetables, fruits, any type of meat, honey, cheese, milk, and any other product made with any of this components. Also vaccines and any other animal product is forbidden to bring in. Medicines Our sailboat has a complete first aid kit with almost every escential in case of an illnes or pain. Anyway we strongly recommend to bring with you any medicament of your liking or personal needs. How to get there and from there Ushuaia
Daily flights and buses depart from and to Ushuaia. Buses connect Ushuaia withnthe northern side of Tierra del Fuego and also with Punta Arenas and Rio Gallegos. Flights are available from Buenos Aires, Trelew and Calafate. And from Ushuaia also. For your stilness is better to check your reservations a few times before departure date because it is usual during high season that flights are reprogrammed and the original schedule can be modified without notice. Punta Arenas
Daily flights and buses depart from and to Punta Arenas. Buses connect with Puerto Natales, Rio Gallegos, Rio Grande and Ushuaia. The flights offer is to Puerto Williams in smal aircrafts from DAP airline. And for the rest of Chile regular planes cover the routes. We recommend to check your reservations in advance in order not to get surprised once at the airport. Puerto Williams During high season, from November till March, DAP airlines (We can get you reservation and bookings on these flights) has daily flights from and to Punta Arenas in 19 passenger twin Otter aircraft. We recommend to make reservations very advanced to get a seat in those flights. Our voyages are to remote areas so the Captain and/or Puerto Beagle deserves the right to alter and/or cancel part or the whole voyage due to serious bad weather, and/or political circumstances in the area of the voyage, and/or any other reason beyond our control. Because of the same Puerto Beagle nor the Captain accept no responsibility for missed flights or buses nor their consequences and strongly recommend our clients that international return flights are fully flexible to allow for missed connections due to bad weather, mechanical breakdown and for any other reason whatsoever as mentioned before. The Captain's say attending to safety reasons amongst other factors must be accepted by all crewmembers. In case of a medical problem arising during the expedition, either onboard or on shore, the responsibility belongs solely to the person itself. If for any reason an incident is not covered by the beneficiary's travel insurance the responsibility still remains with the person and Puerto Beagle nor the skipper specifically decline any responsibility whatsoever.
