I adore you, America

And that for which

You stand;

I love you for your

freedoms,

For your beauties varied

and grand.

For the faith of our

fathers ~

Sublime and true,

Which is a living

faith

Under the Red, white

and Blue.

I adore you, America

For your glowing fields

and soft, blue hills ~

For your great, fair skies,

and woods and rills.

Oh, I would build for you

a courage Divine;

And from a thankful

Strengthen your shrine...

SPRING IN LAGUNA

Three little Sandpipers

Running in the Sun.

Two fly away...

Leaving only One.

One little Sandpiper

And I,

Whiling away

The Gentle Hours

Underneath

A Golden Sky.

WINTER IN LAGUNA

It Was a Beautiful

Morning

With a Seashell

Sky.

The Only Ones

Along the beach

Were the small

Silver-legged

Birds and I

We communed

Together

In the stillness,

As soft Waves

Lapped close on

The Shore,

While the sheer

Splendor

Of The Morning

Revealed God's

Glorious World

To Me

More and More.

IN MY HEART

In My Heart Praising God

Makes Flowers grow

Where had been a Desert

Place... and I find that

My Life is set at a new

And Wondrous Pace.

Then All Things take on a

Touch of HIS Magnificence

That reaches Me in every

Sense.

I seem to have More Strength

And zeal

And Heaven's Breath

Is Very Real.

My Cup runs over With

Joy and peace,

And I have from sadness

A true release!

I put all in The Father's

Care,

As I lift My Heart

In Praise

And Prayer.

GOD HELPS US

God helps Us

With The Little

Things,

But for The

Great Things

He Gives Us

Wings!

A STAR SO BRIGHT

A Star So Bright

Giving forth

So Much Light

Shone into

My Life

On it's darkest

Night.

JESUS' HAND

And Jesus' Hand

Upholdeth Me

So that I can Walk

strong and free.

MY PRAYER

Make Me

More humble,

Lord.

Take All the husks

Away,

Leaving Only

The pure Beauty

Of My Soul

To Worship

You

This Day.

MY PATH

This has Not

Been

An Easy Path

I Chose

To Climb

But I breath

In

The rich Air

Of Faith

And say,

"It Is

Sublime."

I HAVE WINGS

I Have Wings,

Wings of Faith

And Hope and

Love,

Wings that Carry

Me

Above

All the Cares

The World

Bestows

Because They

Make Me

ILLUMINATION

My Heart

Is Illuminated

Today...

The Savior's

Light

Shines On My life

In a Grand

Display.

So Many Blessings

Have Come to

Me

That I feel I am

Set Free.

I am like

A Bird that

Has just found

It's Wings.

Over and Over

JESUS' Name,

Inside Me,

Sings and Sings.

"JESUS ~ JESUS,

JESUS ~ "

Is The Sweet Song

That Within Me Sings

All day

Long.

IN MY FATHER'S CARE

I put All in the Father's

Care

As I lift My heart

To HIM

In Praise and Prayer.

AT THE CROSSROADS

Are *You

At the Crossroads

In Your life?

Is it filled

With grief

And strife?

I have often

Passed that

Way.

I have learned

That I must

Pray.

For Only Prayer

Will bring relief.

Only Faith

Assuages grief.

I have often

Come to

A Crossroad,

Carrying a grievous

Load...

but at last

Have seen sorrows

End

As God's Light

Shines Clearly from

Around the bend.

MAY I KNOW GOD'S PLAN

As I listen, listen

May the knowledge

Seep in and glisten,

glisten

Like a Pearl's bright

Shining

That I May know

The Way

My Wondrous Lord

Would have Me Go

Today.

AT JESUS' FEET

I have been sitting

At HIS Feet

All Day.

I have been

Listening to JESUS'

Words

As I Pray,

And have felt

Joy and tenderness

And Love

Coming to Me

From Above.

IT'S JUST JESUS

It's Just Jesus.

Who For Me does Everything.

He inspires Me

With Words.

He makes My

Heart

To Sing.

He Arranges

When I

Shall go or

Stay.

He plans

For Me

My Day.

It's Just Jesus,

Master of Everything

In My Life.

HE Is Sovereign Lord,

HE Is My Blessed King.

Who for Me

And for My

highest good

Does Everything.

STARS SHINE THROUGH DARKENESS

Stars Shine through

Darkness.

They do Not show

When All is light

But by Faith they

Shimmer

So brightly

In the

Darkness

of

Night.

Doubting is the routing

Of All Your Joy

And Hope.

Doubting is the Darkness

Through Which

In fear

You grope.

Trusting God

Is the bright Gold

Sunlight

Shining in Your Life,

Reaching each dark

Corner,

Lifting You

From All Fear and

Strife.
